WELCOME to Meldan Aviaries!
We are private hobbyist breeders of both Pure and Mutation Alexandrines in Australia.
Meldan Aviaries was born in 2010 when the first handraised baby Alexandrine was purchased and this ignited the passion for such a beautiful species. The dream of owning multiple pairs of these majestic animals became a reality at the beginning of 2011.
Located between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, our aim is to breed the optimum quality chicks. Our dedication is your guarantee of a healthy, well socialised baby for a future breeding.
Our birds are fed a wide variety consisting of pellets, seed (including sprouted and soaked) as well as daily fresh fruit and veges. We use suspended aviaries due to hygiene and the ease of cleaning and maintenance.
All of our birds are leg banded for identification and are sold with DNA sexing cards.We will freight to major cities in Australia.
